Launa Penza Photography runs launapenzaphotography.com. This page explains what the website collects, why, who helps us run it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do. It covers this website only.

What we collect and why

When you send the Get a Quote form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, the kind of session you have in mind and your message. We use them only to answer you and plan your session. We do not add you to a mailing list.
When you browse: like every website, our server records technical details of each visit (your IP address, browser, the page you asked for and the time). We use them to keep the site secure and working.
Statistics: Google Analytics counts visits and the pages people view, so we can see what is useful. See Cookies below.

Who receives your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. These companies handle it for us, only to run the site:

Brevo delivers the emails the form sends: your message to Launa and the confirmation to you.
New Light Digital, our web developer, maintains the site and receives a copy of each inquiry so that none gets lost.
Cloudflare protects and speeds up the site, counts page views without cookies, and checks that the form is sent by a person (Turnstile).
Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures visits.
Our hosting server stores the website and its logs.

Cloudflare also counts page views, without cookies and without identifying you. To do this, every page loads a Cloudflare script (static.cloudflareinsights.com) that tells Cloudflare which page was opened, which page you came from, your type of device and browser, your country, determined from your IP address, and how fast the page loaded. The script stores nothing in your browser, and we see only totals, never data about an individual visitor.

We use these totals to see how the site is used and whether it loads quickly. Cloudflare keeps this data under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are emailed to Launa and also saved on the website for 12 months, then deleted automatically.
Messages our spam filter blocks are kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically.
Server logs are kept for up to 6 months.
Google Analytics keeps its statistics for 14 months.
Emails stay in Launa’s inbox while she needs them to work with you. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Cookies

The website does not need cookies to work. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to tell visits apart, and Cloudflare may set a security cookie (__cf_bm) to filter out bots. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works without them. The site does not change its behavior when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Videos and links to other sites

The homepage shows a preview image from YouTube; the video itself loads from YouTube only when you press play, and YouTube’s privacy policy applies from that moment. Links to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, X and Google Maps take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it, by email or phone (above). If you live in California, you have these rights under California law, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
