A Sweet Family Session in the Canyon
There’s something magical about photographing families in the golden light of a canyon evening. This beautiful session took place in the hills of The Summit in Valencia, California, surrounded by majestic, oak trees, rustic fences, open fields, and early spring wildflowers.
This sweet family of four brought so much joy to the session. Mom and dad spent the evening chasing giggles and cuddling their two adorable daughters – a curious one- year- old and her playful four- year- old big sister. Watching their personalities unfold naturally was the highlight of the shoot. Especially the kids playing with bubbles and mom and dad reading their favorite story book to them. The older sister loved exploring the trails and twirling through the grass, while the little one was happiest in her parents arms soaking in every hug and smile.
As a natural light lifestyle, photographer, my goal is always to capture the real moments – the end between laughs, the tiny hands holding mom’s fingers, the way our father lives, his daughter hi into the air or cuddles her in his lap. These candid interactions are where the true beauty and magic a family photography lives.
